INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN/ 390 Hours

Objective:

The Industrial Electrician course is designed to provide learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in industrial environments. Participants will gain expertise in complex machinery wiring, motor controls, industrial panels, and safety protocols. Upon completion, learners will be competent to work efficiently and safely on industrial electrical installations, ensuring compliance with national and international safety standards.

Theory:

  • Introduction to industrial electrical systems and their applications

  • Electrical theory: voltage, current, resistance, and power

  • Reading and interpreting industrial wiring diagrams and schematics

  • Electrical components: motors, transformers, relays, and contactors

  • Industrial control systems and automation basics

  • Safety regulations, standards, and use of PPE

  • Electrical testing instruments and diagnostic techniques

  • Troubleshooting industrial electrical faults and preventive maintenance

  • Energy efficiency and sustainable industrial practices

  • Electrical system documentation, reporting, and record-keeping

Practical:

  • Preparing tools, equipment, and work area safely

  • Installing industrial wiring, motors, and control panels

  • Connecting and configuring industrial machines and devices

  • Testing circuits, measuring electrical parameters, and ensuring safety compliance

  • Troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical faults

  • Installing protective devices such as circuit breakers, fuses, and RCDs

  • Performing preventive maintenance on electrical systems

  • Working with automation and control systems (relays, PLCs)

  • Following all safety protocols during installation and maintenance

  • Maintaining tools, equipment, and industrial electrical components
